S1 lights to illuminate the sides.
With S1 work/scene lights recessed in the front fender sheet metal, and a pair in the rear quarters, Our Jeep camper had great visibility out to the sides, but there was still room for improvement. A small area between the side lights and the wide cornering ambers up front could use a little more, and the fender marker holes were begging for the job. Believe it or not, the diameter of those holes almost exactly matches the greatest dimension of the S1 Universal Fit Lights, so we went to work designing round faces and mounting parts to allow fitment in that location. After way too many hours tinkering with the CAD design, and an order from SendCutSend, we had parts!

Here you can see the round faces we made compared to the originals. They were laser cut from aluminum and then coated with Steel-It to match the rock sliders and other accessories on the Jeep. After plenty of time to dry, we swapped the faces for installation.

Here you can see the rear retaining rings and clamping bracket holding the assembly into the fender plastic. These lights are much deeper than the factory corner marker lights and just barely clear the inner fender plastic - almost like the Jeep engineers wanted us to put these here.

Corner marker duties
As for the corner markers, we simply chopped the wires off and spliced them into some universal amber marker lights from Amazon and installed them inside the fenders so they still indicate position when viewed from the side.

How we like the S1 lights in the fender flares
Having run these for a while, we LOVE how they fill out the lighting down the sides and blend nicely with the amber wide cornering lights we installed in the front bumper. We like the way they look a lot more than the stock amber markers too! With the whole Jeep bing silver, black, or glass, these fit in nicely. All the measuring and designing paid off, and the result is well worth the effort.
